Employee Self Service (ESS)

 

Employee Self Service is a secure, web-based application provided to District employees through the Sacramento County Office of Education. With ESS, employees can review specific personal and work-related information.

 

ESS includes:

·         Personal information such as address, telephone, hire/longevity dates, TB expiration, etc.

·         Personnel information such as employee number, position, bargaining unit, salary placement, etc.

·         Pay History including downloadable pdf of pay stub

·         Leave history and balances

·         W-2’s

·         Credential information

·         And more

Where do I find my Employee ID number?

You can find your Employee ID on a past pay stub. If you do not have one, contact Human Resources or Payroll for assistance.

 

Do I login as type “Staff” or “QCC”?

QCC is the District’s financial system. Only employees that currently use QCC should login as type “QCC.” All other users login as type “Staff.”

 

I’m a substitute employee, can I use ESS?

Substitute employees can use ESS if they have a personal email on file. If you aren’t sure if you have provided a personal email, contact Human Resources.

 

My personal information is not correct, how do I fix it?

To update personal information, contact Human Resources.

 

My leave information does not look correct, how do I fix it?

Absences are entered monthly by Payroll. Depending on when you review your leave balance, it is possible some absences haven’t been recorded yet. If you feel your leave balances are incorrect, please contact Payroll.

 

How do I change my Federal or State tax withholdings?

To change tax withholdings, please submit Federal form W-4 and/or State Form DE-4 to Payroll. The form can be found on the District website under Staff tab, then click on Payroll under Employee Resources.

 

How do I change my bank information for Direct Deposit?

To change your bank information, submit “Direct Deposit Form” to Payroll. The form can be found on the District website under Staff tab, then click on Payroll under Employee Resources.
